This authentic OEM replacement bolt is made for chainsaws and pole pruners. It is an important part of chain tensioning mechanism which allows users to adjust tension of the bar. If the bar doesn't adjust when you turn the tension screw usually the bolt or pin is worn or damaged. This bolt has a hex socket head requiring a hex key/allen wrench for installation. Includes one (1) bolt per order.

1.) Removed side cover
2.) Removed two screws holding on tensioner plate.
3.) Removed components to chain tensioner and replaced with ordered parts.
4.) Replaced tensioner cover and side cover

The sprocket guard was broken, so the chain would not tension properly and the chain brake was not functioning.

From this assembly, remove the following:
2. Remove the metal chain/bar guide
3. Remove chain tensioning system
4. Remove chain brake guard
5. Remove chain brake system cover
6. Remove chain brake system, don\'t forget the metal bushing
