As you take apart old guard, clean old parts and place them in new guard.

The sprocket guard was broken, so the chain would not tension properly and the chain brake was not functioning.

1. Remove sprocket guard assembly from the chainsaw.
From this assembly, remove the following:
2. Remove the metal chain/bar guide
3. Remove chain tensioning system
4. Remove chain brake guard
5. Remove chain brake system cover
6. Remove chain brake system, don\'t forget the metal bushing
