This is an authentic Echo replacement part that is OEM sourced to ensure quality. The metal mesh screen is used with chainsaws. The screen connects to the muffler and is used to prevent sparks from exiting with the exhaust. Over time the screen can get clogged and will need to be replaced to maintain good air flow and circulation. A screwdriver is needed to install the screen and it is sold individually.
