Need help finding your model number?This replacement part has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with Echo chainsaws. The piston ring is used with the engine oil to create a seal between the combustion chamber and the crankcase. Damage to the piston ring can cause a break in the seal that allows gasses to enter the crankcase causing a loss of compression. It is recommended to drain the fuel and remove the spark plug to begin this repair. A Torx driver, screwdriver, wrench set and small nose pliers are needed to install the piston ring. This item is sold individually.
