This is an OEM replacement part for Shindaiwa and Echo chainsaws. The ignition coil generates the voltage for the spark plug which then sends power to the unit. This part comes with the ignition wire, module, and spark plug boot. For this installation, you will need a screwdriver to remove any engine shrouds or covers, as well as needle nose pliers to disconnect the ignition coil from the engine.
