THOUGHT ABOUT REBUILDING CARB...DECIDED NOT TO SCREW WITH IT...JUST GO FOR A NEW CARB...SAW HAD GOOD COMPRESSION. GOOD SPARK....TRIED FRESH GAS FRESH PLUG FRESH FUEL AND AIR FILTER....NO CHANGE. PUT ON THIS NEW CARB...TWO SCREWS...15 MIN...RUNS LIKE BRAND NEW
Removed air cleaner--removed two bolts from carburetor--twist carb carefully to remove linkage and fuel lines hardest part is the linkage, may have to take the handle screws out to exposes all the linkage, being careful to note their locations for reassembly.

Removed air box, filter, carburetor, and carburetor linkages. replaced with new parts purchased.
Proactively replaced worn clutch flywheel to protect new chains.
Reassembled everything, fueled chainsaw, pulled rope and chainsaw runs better now than when new!
Unscrewed air filter cover
Remove air filter
Unscrewed two bolts securing carburetor
Removed linkage to choke and throttle and removed carburetor
Install new carburetor in reverse order
Chainsaw worked great without any adjustments!
