Rim sprocket wore out

1. Removed bar and chain, cleaned, sharpen the chain.
2. Removed plug, fed rope in plug cylinder hole.
3. Used hammer and bolt to turn clutch clockwise to remove the old clutch, rim sprocket, and bearing.
4. Replaced w/new bearing, rim sprocket , clutch hub.
5. Reassembled.
6. Pulled filter out gas tank w/nee ... Read more dle nose pliers.
7. Replaced w/ the new fuel filter.
Serviced, runs great!

The Rim Sprocket broke and actually still ran with 2/3 of a sprocket, but not well.

1. Remove the chain guard nuts, chain guard, bar, and chain loop
2. Use a small flathead screwdriver to pry off the snap ring that holds the rim sprocket and
washer in place, while holding it gently with your fingers so it doesn\'t fly off when it is
released.
3. Don\'t lose the snap ring.
4. Slid ... Read more e off the washer and rim sprocket from the crank spindle.
5. Throw the old rim sprocket in the scrap bin
6. Open package containing the new rim sprocket
7. Install the new rim sprocket to the crank spindle - Oregon logo facing out
8. Install the old washer the way it was
9. Using your strong hands, slip the snap ring back into its groove. You may require some
kind of lever if you are weak and lack such strength.
10. Make sure that none of that shit is going anywhere
11. Install the bar, chain loop, chain guard, and chain guard nuts
12. Set proper tension on the chain loop.

remove clutch assy. remember it has left hand threads
remove damaged rim sprocket
install new sprocket and reinstall clutch, bar and chain
adjust chain to specs
