This is a genuine Echo part for use with Chainsaws. The most common reason for replacing the throttle rod is when the trigger is broken, causing the engine to not rev up when the throttle trigger is pulled. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the throttle rod is a T25 Torx bit screwdriver and a 5/16" socket.
1. Removed the breather cover and the element to expose the carburetor, the throttle butterfly shaft, and the linkage hole.
2. Removed the hand grip/throttle control handle.
3. Inserted the new grommet, the linkage, and the throttle control.
4. Reversed the order to reassemble.
