This is a genuine Echo replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with chainsaws. The piston ring is used with the engine oil to create a seal between the combustion chamber and the crankcase. The seal is used to prevent combustion gasses from entering the crankcase to maintain compression. This piston ring is sold individually.
