?The auto-oiler connects to the grommet-oil. This genuine item is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Echo chain saws. This part is available as an individual replacement. When replacing this part a screwdriver, a socket set, and adjustable wrench may all be needed. It is made of metal and will need to be replaced if it breaks.

The auto oiler quit so I figured out what it was and took it out and it was stuck so I replaced it and it works fine now .

Removed bar and chain
Bought clutch removal tool
Removed engine cover and remove spark plug and place rope in spark plug hole to stop piston from moving while removing clutch

I tried to tap the oiler to remove it but that didn\'t work. Drilled it out with a drill press. Be very careful not to damage the plastic case while drilling.. There are probably other ways to do this but it\'s the only way I could figure out how to do it. A long 10-24 screw served as an installation tool once I got the oiler out.
Installed the worm gear and reassembled clutch assy.
Put the oil grommet back in and attached the hose from the oil tank.
Put the bar and chain back on the
Take the rope out of the cylinder and reinstall the spark plug and attach the engine case.
Reattach the bar and chain. Replace the sprocket guard.
