Genuine OEM replacement part used on Echo chainsaws. This part keeps the fuel tank sealed and prevent gasoline from leaking. This item includes a retainer that remains in the tank to keep the fuel cap from being lost or falling on the ground. It also has an o-ring supplied with it to seal the cap. After time this o-ring will deteriorate and become brittle causing fuel to leak from the tank. It will then have to be replaced.

I replaced air and fuel filters and new spark plug. Once I completed repair saw would start but acted like it would run out of fuel. I let sit for 24 hours and then tried it and it has been running good ever since. I believe the new fuel filter takes time to become fully operational.
Remove the fuel lines from the purge bulb
Use a small screwdriver to press on the purge bulb side tabs to remove it
Press the new bulb in the housing and attach the fuel lines
Remove the worn cap and install the new one
