This 16" chain is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part that is designed for use with Echo chainsaws. This is the part that fits over the bar and it is what cuts the material. Over time chains tend to stretch and become dull eventually requiring replacement. It is made from strong durable metal and it is sold individually, to replace it you will need a wrench set, screwdriver and pliers.
