Disassembled saw and found the oil pump was for an older De Walt dccs670 saw.
I also have an older dccs670 so I will keep the pump.
I have found no one including De Walt has the parts breakdown for the newer saw.
I also found the real problem was a pin on the rotor housing was broken off.
This pin fit against a
... Read more cam on the oil pump and the pump to go in and out as it turned.
I replaced the pin by treading a drilled hole in the housing to screw in a #6 screw that I cut and ground to match the original pin.
Although this solution was cheap,
I am unhappy with De Walt for not having information on the newer saw. The correct solution would have been the replacement of correct rotor assembly.
