Need help finding your model number?This is a genuine replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with chainsaws from Craftsman. The ignition module attaches to the motor assembly near the flywheel. This part is used to create an electric charge when the magnets on the side of the flywheel pass the ignition module. Replacing this part may be recommended when the engine has compression but will not start or will not stay running. The ignition module is sold individually.
