Disassemble top of router.
Remove electronic speed control.
Split motor housing exposing top bearing.
Use a small puller to remove bearing.
Remove broken locator ring.(Used die grinder to cut mine off)

Router would start and then shutoff after unplugging and plugging in.
Removed housing. Removed brushes and then removed armature, pulled bearing from armature and then pulled the old locator ring that was broken that is located under the bearing on amerature and replaced with new locator ring. Then replaced bearing and reassembled.
