?This is a genuine OEM approved replacement chainsaw bar that is used in cordless/ battery powered Black and Decker loppers. The bar holds the cutting chain in place, which is sold separately from the bar. The bar and chain are great for limb and branch pruning.

Chain need sharping and kept slipping off bar

The bar and chain are exposed and can now be replaced.
Clean the area of wood chips.
Press the bar back towards the motor drive and the chain will come off.
The bar can now be removed.
Clean the bar pressure bracket so that it is free to move.
Instal ... Read more l the new bar if you have one.
Put some new bar oil in the slot in the bar.
Check the embossed chain description on the frame of the saw to make sure you are putting the new chain on in the correct direction.
Install the new chain.
With the new chain installed manually turn the gear to check that the chain is on and moving freely but not sloppy.
Replace the cover.
