1. Disconnected the power cord from receptacle.
2. Removed the top cover of the central vacuum cleaner.
3. Carefully disconnected the two connector leads from switch.
4. Pushed out old switch.
5. Fed the two wires to the outside of the vacuum cleaner housing through the switch opening (easier to reconnect the new s

6. Pushed connector wires towards inside of vacuum cleaner and pressed switch into place.
7. Re-connected power cord.
8. Turned on vacuum cleaner to check it is working properly. Bingo.
