easy fix for my hunter fan light fixture
The light fixture on my Hunter fan suddenly stopped working. This replacement part fixed the problem. It took just a few minutes to replace my defective wire harness- lights work fine now.
(FYI- the failed part in the original fixture is labeled Y59 B 120C (or similar) - this is a thermal/current limiting switch. Noticed that the new replacement harness uses a different (larger) limiter component. Hopefully an improvement over the original. will see...)
This fix probably earned me a few bonus points with the spouse.

I ordered the part based on another review. Hope mine helps someone. This was a plug and play repair. The wiring harness was just a swap out. Didn\'t need any special tools just a phillips screwdriver to remove the cover over the wiring. Everything went smoothly and it was just plugging in the connecting wires to the existing setup.

Removed the old wire kit from the fan assembly and replaced the new kit. I had to rewire some new lead wires but just follow the color schemes and all was well.
1. Read and followed simple instructions provided with the replacement wire harness.
