All three plastic parts were broken from normal wear and tear.
Broken parts of the Bissell carpet cleaning machine were up under the top housing of the unit. Little space to work in. Had to disconnect one of the water supply hoses to be able to lift the housing up. Hardest part was repositioning and properly routing the water supply hoses so the top housing would go all the way back down. It was hit

Removed 6 screws to gain access to knob and flapper.
