This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Presto pressure cookers. The vent pipe is used to allow steam and air from exiting the pressure cooker and the rate of release is maintained by the regulator that sits on the vent pipe. This vent pipe is available as an individual replacement part, please note the regulator is available separately.
