This is an authentic Coleman-made replacement assembly. It connects from the Fuel Tank (Part Number: 413-5601) to the burners. A generator atomizes the fuel and combines it with air. It features a lever for adjusting the air-fuel mixture as well as a dial to control the flow into the burners. Each valve and generator kit comes pre-assembled. This assembly includes parts that can be found separately: • Valve Stem Packing, Part Number: 118D6201 • Knob Assembly, Part Number: R413-149T • Generator, Part Number: 413A5621

Coleman model 413E gas camp cook stove was acting up with high yellow flames instead of small blue flames

Pulled clip from fuel tank at the plunger and installed new parts with some oil on the new leather cup. Unscrewed valve and Generator assy. and applied sealer to threads on new assembly, and tightened then screwed on the new cap. Pumped it up and it works like it did new in 1956.

I unscrewed the old generator and valve and screwed the new one in. Since the fitting is brass there was no need for Teflon tape.

Valve and generator assembly quit working after about 40 yrs of usage. Out lived it\'s life cycle.

Removed the old valve and the generator assembly with an adjustable wrench. Replaced and the job was complete. Less than 15 minutes.

Fuel generator was leaking fuel, causing excessive fuel to the burner

I used 2 adjustable wrenches to remove the old generator, then attached the new one. There were no problems and no additional instructions were necessary.

Generator broke from valve and pump cup was worn out! Hadn\'t been used in 20 years

Removed old valve from fuel tank, used petroleum resistant thread sealant and installed new valve/generator assembly.
Removed old pump cup and installed new one. Getting the new one inside the pump tube was kind of a pain since the new leather is flat.
TIP! Soak the new cup in cooking oil for a couple of hours!
