This is an authentic Coleman-made replacement assembly. It connects from the Fuel Tank (Part Number: 413-5601) to the burners. A generator atomizes the fuel and combines it with air. It features a lever for adjusting the air-fuel mixture as well as a dial to control the flow into the burners. Each valve and generator kit comes pre-assembled. Hi Chad, Thank you for your question. The check valve and air stem are both made of brass and come together when ordered. The air stem threads into the check valve and is turned with the hollow pump shaft. Turned counter-clockwise, it allows air to flow through the check valve per the check ball. Turned fully clockwise it completely closes the check valve. It helps to pressurize your lanterns fuel tank and holds the pressure inside during use. The part you are looking for is the valve and generator assembly, part number 413B6601. It connects from the fuel tank to the burners. A generator atomizes the fuel and combines it with air. It features a lever for adjusting the air-fuel mixture as well as a dial to control the flow into the burners. Each valve and generator kit comes pre-assembled.
