This is an authentic part that is supplied directly by the original equipment manufacturer for Shindaiwa brush cutters, blowers, and trimmers. When pulled, the starter rope engages starter spring causing the engine turn fast enough for the ignition module to generate a spark to ignite the fuel in the cylinder. This part is made of nylon rope and is sold individually. To install the rope you will need a screwdriver, a pair of needle nose pliers and socket wrench to aid you. Turn the starter spring to build tension and recoil the rope inside.
