The purpose of a carburetor is to mix air and gas into a highly combustible mixture that is then sent to the engine. Please note this high-quality metal body carburetor is sold individually. Over time the carburetor components may wear out and begin to fail causing sluggish performance and poor fuel economy. When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace carburetor gaskets to ensure proper air tight seal for optimum performance, keep in mind the gaskets are sold separately.
