This is a genuine OEM sourced part used on many drill devices. The shifter assembly is composed of metal and plastic, and is secured onto the transmission assembly on top of the housing assembly. This item allows the operator to shift gears. The shifter assembly is sold individually. A hex key and pliers are often helpful for the removal and replacement.
