Need help finding your model number?This is an authentic DeWalt replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with drills and drivers. The variable speed switch is used to relay electricity from the power cord to the motor. Switches can wear out over time and a sign of a bad switch is trouble starting then running ok after starting up. This switch is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.
