Remove one half of the housing
Disconnect the cord wires from the switch
Removed the old cord
Removed the cord relief from the old cord and put it on the new cord
Connect the new cord wires to the switch
Screws the housing back together
Removed one housing half
Disconnected the cord wires from the switch
Removed the old cord protector and put it on the new cord
Connected the cord to the switch
Replaced the housing half
Very simple to do, I just removed the screws from the handle to separate it, then noted which wire went where. Then I used a pick to remove the wires from the switch one at a time, then routed and inserted the wires in the correct location in the switch.
