1. Attempted to remove the locking nut inside the blender but the drive gear on the bottom of the shaft unscrewed.
2. I had to pull the assembly out and carefully clamp the shaft in a vise to loosen the locking nut.
3. Reassembly was easy, and the direction of rotation keeps the drive gear and not tight,

One of the blades broke off while blending ice in a shake .
Using a socket driver to grasp the blade nut and a wrench to hold the bottom portion of the blade assembly, the nut came off directly and without issue. .

Lid cracked a long time ago and got tired of placing palm over opening in top. Blade broke after 14 Years of making smoothies with frozen fruit.
I snapped the piece onto the lid in seconds. Then removed the nut holding the old blade and installed the new blade. No instructions needed. So simple and cost me total $13.00. Works great
