This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement part used on Waring blenders. It helps to distribute the pressure evenly and provides a tight seal for the bearing holder. For proper application please refer to diagrams of your unit. This part is made out of metal and it is sold individually.
Remove coupling
Big crescent wrench to hold nut securing blade assbly, smaller crescent to loosen clockwise on bottom of blend. Remove blade assbly, replace 1 rubber gasket, 2 plastic gaskets, 2 stain. Steel washers and small washer under coupling. Use parts diagram to see order of installation, part numbers and quantity needed.

My 60 year old Waring blender needed new washers in the blender jar
My husband removed the motor assembly with a socket wrench and took off the old washers and replaced them with the new ones we ordered. The blender works perfectly.
