After 30-some years, the heavy glass pitcher on my Oster blender cracked. I couldn't help but wonder if the specs on the replacement were accurate, that it would be an exact heavy glass original. I needn't have worried, though. The only difference between the old & new was that the slight cloudiness of the old next to the sparkle of the new. At 93 years old, I was dreading the hassle of shopping for a new blender and figuring out how to use it. Instead, I've got my original Oster 14-speed with its new pitcher at a fraction of the price of a new one.
