When removing the paddle from the appliance, be sure to unplug it and be careful to avoid the shaving blade. To remove and replace the ice paddle from your machine, you first need to release the ice reservoir by pushing the release button. Then you can press the button behind the ice chute while unscrewing the paddle. This genuine OEM part is machine washable.
