Removed the old gear and snapped in the new one. Learned from this not to put the gear in the dishwasher. Although I have had the Braun blender for several years so maybe it just wore out. But it was wonderful to find this replacement part so I didn\'t have to buy a whole new blender.
Put new whisk Attachment on handl and inserted whisk.
