This is an authentic Milwaukee replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with compound miter saws. The special torx pan head screw is commonly used to secure the back end of the kerf plate. Six screws are required to secure the kerf plates, and five of the screws are 8mm and this screw is slightly smaller than the others. This screw is available as an individual replacement part.
