The Bosch belt sander comes apart well with a slotted screwdriver. No bearing that I had replaced needed to be pulled with any special tools. They just slide off on their own. I had a worn ring gear which engages the gear on the end of the armature. Seems like the armature gear is much harder than the ring gear, which Bosch calls the
... Read more\"CROWN GEAR\". Since it\'s seems softer, it is the one that wears out. The gear needs to be re-greased and that is only a little messy, and the brush set installs very easily. I did have to wait a while as Ereplacementparts ordered them from another supplier and had that supplier ship to them, then they repackaged and shipped to me. I believe that was why there was a bit of a wait. I didn\'t have immediate need for the Belt Sander so all was fine with the rather slow arrival of the repair parts. RH
