This is a genuine OEM replacement part used with Broan ventilation and heating devices. The 4" damper/duct connector (164-E,G,J,K,L) is constructed of durable plastic, and is sold individually. This item is fastened onto the blower scroll, regulating the airflow from the ventilation. Please refer to the manual for repair instructions.

My heater ventilator fan light is located at a hard to reach location in my attic. I removed a 7-in x 7-in piece of drywall to make repair. Repaired drywall.
Very simple repair. Take off old duct adapter put new one on. Now is a good time to clean the inside.
