This blade guard is an OEM direct from the Milwaukee manufacturer. This part is constructed of durable metal, and is compatible with many bandsaw devices. The protective, blade guard is fastened onto the blade, and secured onto the rear blade assembly. Please refer to the specific manual and diagrams for repair instructions. This part is sold individually. A hex key is helpful in making the replacement.

... Read morethe existing blade guard had a huge dent in it that made the blade scrape. It was a simple swap out with the new one using a few torx drivers. The front handle was missing, but that too was a breeze to replace with the brand new one. I put a touch of loctite blue and tightened it down with an allen wrench. The shoulder 3/8\" x 16 bolt provided by eReplacement Parts was a perfect fit. I also put in a new cord and cord protector. The hardest part was packing all the wires back in so the handle would close nicely. At the end of the day there are faster ways to cut metal, but nothing compares to the band saw in terms of accuracy. I can split hairs with this thing. Thanks eReplacement Parts!!
