This is a genuine Milwaukee replacement kit, it is sold individually. This Sprocket & Chain Kit has been updated to fit the older saws. You can tell if you have an older saw by looking at the serial number. This kit will fit both the older and newer band saws.

A very easy repair. Remove the three screws on the rear blade pulley, remove the retaining ring and washer. Pull the pulley off the shaft. Then remove the old sprocket and chain and install new ones. Assemble in reverse order and your done.
Remove the blade pulley cover by unscrewing the screws. Use snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring. Now remove the blade pulley and the spacers. Pull the chain sprocket and chain out and install the new ones. Add a little grease to the chain. Replace the spacers, wheel, and snap ring. I also replaced the rubber tire as it was worn out.

2. Removed broken chain, and cleaned out all lose parts.
3. Removed clip ring, and the chain sprocket. Pressed out two steel bushings from sprocket.
4. Pressed in the two steel bushings into the new chain sprocket, and used emery cloth ins

5. Polished steel shaft on the saw, and placed a small amount of gear lube on shaft.
6. placed a small amount of gear lube on new chain, and replaced new chain sprocket.
7. Placed new drive pulley, and rotated it until it locked in place.
8. Placed drive pulley cap with three screws, and tighten.
9. Put new band blade on saw, and ran the motor for a couple of minutes.
10. Then onto the next project, and it worked great.

Bandsaw chain and sprocket worn out, bad sleeve bearing and missing snap ring
Removed the blade pulley cover
Removed the blade pulley and sleeve bearings
Installed the new chain and sprocket assembly
Installed the new bushings, the blade pulley, washer and the new snap ring
Installed the blade pulley cover
1. Disassembled drive wheel assembly.
2. Cleaned parts from grease and metal.
3. Lubricated the new sprocket and chain.
4. Positioned chain sprocket and chain on to driveshaft, installed new washer and snap ring.
5. Secured the drive wheel, and cap, and torqued screws, installed saw blade and tested.
