This is a genuine item that is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Jet and Wilton vertical bandsaws. It is an identical replacement for a missing or damaged knob that is utilized to adjust the blade tension, please make sure to check the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this hardware. 1. Disassembled top pulley housing unit.
2. Removed tension rod assembly and had to hacksaw the rod.
3. Installed new rod and nut.
4. Reassembled top pulley housing and installed new blade.
Removed the tension adjustment rod nut and spring from the adjustment bracket.
Install the new adjustment rod through the adjustment bracket
Placed the spring and nut on the adjustment rod
