This is an authentic Shimano replacement part, compatible with the CDF400A Round Baitcasting Cardiff. The drive shaft runs through the center of the reel to connect and move the gears in response to the turning handle. This part is made of metal. You will need a screwdriver to replace this part. It is advised that you keep careful track of the parts attached to it, to be sure you can put it back together in the correct order. This part is sold individually.
