This was not a repair, but replacing the original reel handle with an after market reel handle.

1. Removed the nut lock plate from stock handle.
2. Removed the handle nut.
3. Removed the handle.
4. Installed the after market power handle.
5. Installed the handle nut.
6. Installed the nut lock plate.
7. Installed the nut lock plate screw (the part I purchased from e Replacement Parts).
Note: I purchased 3 Shimano screws that served the same purpose. They were all the same thread size, but had slightly different heads. I selected the one that had the best head for my application. The original nut lock plate screw did not fit the replacement handle.
