This is an authentic Shimano replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with baitcasting reels. The handle nut fits on the outside of the handle and is used to secure the handle to the drive shaft assembly. This item is available as an individual replacement part. A hex socket wrench may be needed to install this item.
