Removed handle nut and retainer...removed handle...removed star drag....removed washers, one by one, and laid them out in order of removal...added new washers and seal to the set per the Shimano schematic...replaced all washers and parts to the reel as shown in the Shimano schematic..

Removed handle, removed washers and replaced. The parts diagram didn\'t show which direction the washers faced as they are beveled washers. I put the concave sides together so there was a space between the washers. This creates a spring action that the drag needs.
