This is an authentic Shimano replacement part, sold individually. E locks are generally used to secure bearings and/or gears on the end of a shaft, the shaft will have a notch cut out at the end for the E lock to fit in. Because this part has a tendency to fall off and wear out, it is suggested that more than one be purchased. This part is compatible with the Reels shown below.
