This is an authentic OEM part. The Abu Garcia gear is compatible with many Ambassadeur fishing reels, and is sold individually. The plastic gear is fitted between the washer and the oscillate pinion gear retainer in the frame. A screwdriver and pliers are needed for making the replacement.
