This is an authentic Echo replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with trimmers and augers. This is a complete part assembly that includes the shoes, spring, and hardware. The clutch allows the motor to idle without rotating the drive shaft. As throttle is increased the clutch shoe expands and engages the clutch drum which rotates the drive shaft. This item is available as an individual replacement part.
