Whirlpool Washer Transmissions and Clutches

A worn clutch can cause a slower spin speed which will leave your clothes wet after a cycle. This clutch assembly comes with brake cam driver, blue spring for large capacity washers and black spring for compact washers. As per factory, the blue spring (1.24") replaces the black spring (1.46").

The transmission drives the agitator and spins the basket in the washer. Possible Repair Solution For: Not washing properly, will not agitate, pumps but will not spin.

This includes the Tub Seal

This kit includes one driver hub and two driven basket hubs. The basket hub is located under the agitator. If your washer is not agitating or spinning properly, the hubs will need to be replaced.

This gearcase is an OEM replacement part designed for select washing machines from Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, Inglis, and Magic Chef. It is responsible for driving the agitator and spinning the wash basket, ensuring that the machine operates efficiently.
