The water level pressure switch in your washing machine is a very important part, as it senses and regulates the water level within the washer. If you notice that the water level in your washing machine seems off, you may need to replace the water level pressure switch. Be sure to disconnect the power and water sources from your washing machine before you complete this repair.

Also known as a Rotary Switch. This part regulates the temperature of the water in the tub.

This switch keeps your washer from overflowing. It is responsible for shutting off the power to the fill valve and redirects the power to the timer to start the washing machine running once the correct water level has been reached.

The point of the lid switch is for the tub to stop spinning when the washer lid is opened. It is a safety precaution just in case someone decides to stick their hand inside the washer while the tub is spinning.

This part is located behind the control panel. It helps determine the level of water in the washer. As the water fills the hose, while tub is filling, it will push the air against a diaphragm inside the switch. More water that enters the tub, more pressure is applied against the switch.
