This is an authentic LG charcoal filter for your microwave, sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is designed to remove odors from the air that circulate through your microwave vent. It measures approximately 11 inches in length, and 2.5 inches in width.

This is a replacement grease filter for your microwave. Sometimes known as the air filter, this part fits underneath your microwave and catches grease. As a result, your grease filter can become clogged, and this is the part you will need to replace it. It measures approximately 7 inches by 7 inches. Most microwaves have two grease filters, but this part is sold individually.

The filter is made of metal and is intended for use with ranges and cooktops. As per the manufacturer, this filter may be 1/2" slimmer than the original, but will still function the same.

The charcoal filter removes cooking odors from the air that circulates through the microwave vent.
