1. Remove clamp nut, grinding wheel, and backing flange.
2. Align tabs with slots in grinder head and remove guard assembly.
3. Remove 5- #20 Torx screws.
4. Disassemble guard, spacer, spring, and guard lever.
5. Insert spring and guard lever in slot in spacer.
6. Reassemble in reverse order.
