The armature is one of the key components of an electric motor. Due to constant contact with carbon brushes armature will eventually wear out and will need to be replaced. If you notice smoke or sparks coming from the vents on the back of your tool, you've probably overloaded your armature at some point. Please note this high-quality assembly is sold individually, it includes an armature and the plastic fan.
