Removed the spindle, popped rear cover off case, lifted brushes out of holders, removed armature and front case. Unscrewed nut holding piping gear, slid gear and case off. Slid new case on shaft, installed gear and nut. Put armature back in case, reinstalled brushes and assembled rear handle/case. Added grease to gear case and installed r

Making more noise than usual so I decided to replace the bearings
went to take it apart the motor bearings were easy to change but the large bearing on spindle shaft was different . The bevel gear is pressed onto the spindle shaft went to press it out and bent the small end of the shaft, also had trouble getting the needle bearing out of the gearcase housing. When all parts arrived it went back together
